Set on a hypothetical border wall between Spain and France, MAD is a short film in 3 languages about isolation, both individually and nationally. "In an abstract world where we build walls instead of creating art, two artists explore the limits of what they're permitted to do, questioning the accepted values that form the rules that bind them and suffering the persecution and solitude of a separated society. Together they investigate a flowering relationship based on mutual ideas and an innocent ambition to liberate themselves, but unintentionly end up on the border between creativity and destruction, as is the duality of human nature."
