Funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, the Co-operative and Social Development Enterprise in Leicester are curating a Living Histories Project, documenting the history of co-operative movements in Leicestershire - movements which lead to significant change in workers rights in the regions.
6 mini documentaries cover the formation of Leicester's most powerful co-operatives, including Alice Hawkins' suffragette activism and affordable housing organisations. The films were screened as part of a solo exhibition at Soft Touch Arts, Leicester 9-24 July 2021.
